Do you Inspire Confidence? In yourself, and in others?
Inspire: to excite, encourage, or breathe life into.
Confidence: feeling sure of yourself and your abilities—not in an arrogant way, but in a realistic, secure way.
“It’s a quiet inner knowledge that you’re capable.”
Personally, it’s been a 30+ year path for me to get to a place of confidence. As I arrive at this state of self-assurance, it wobbles and teeters with self-doubt constantly. And, I know I’m not alone in that!
The act of Inspiring Confidence in others is one of the MOST rewarding gifts as a Stylist.
Through my experience working closely with people (my guests), I’ve slowly gained my own self- confidence! We work so intimately with others; creating bonds, sharing life’s happy and most difficult times. We celebrate with people just as much as we cry with them—a quiet ear for listening and a hoot n’ holla for every victory! We’re always there to say, “You’re amazing! You got this.” We are the confidence builder—truly from the inside out.
When guests leave our Salon, their hair looks amazing and their confidence soars. We love to celebrate it!
“It is this close experience and seeing my guests glow with confidence that ignites my own fire of self-love.”
I consider myself blessed to have the opportunity to touch so many lives in more ways than “just hair.” I hope every guest who sits in my chair feels my appreciation for them.
Together, we can ignite the fires in each other.
I encourage you to look closely and see how you could start Inspiring Confidence around you. A small uplifting gesture can last a lifetime.
I’ve included a list of interesting writings about self-confidence, self-love, self-assurance, and the Stylist/Client relationship. This is a wonderful discussion for everyone at every age.
Happy reading!
